Her hands are in her pockets, he’s talking to his friends. They stand in a crowded room at once; they’re both on separate ends. She glances at his being; a smile lights her face. She doesn’t let anyone know, but her heart is beginning to race. She turns back to her friends now, pretends it doesn’t occur, and as she turns away from him, she swears she saw him turn to her.
